THIS WOMAN HECKLED ME AND THREATENED ME PHYSICALLY AND STATED “I HATE THAT MAN”. SHE WANTED ME OFF THE CAMPUS BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT I WAS HATEFUL AND INTOLERANT.
THIS WOMAN HECKLED ME AND THREATENED ME PHYSICALLY AND STATED “I HATE THAT MAN”. SHE WANTED ME OFF THE CAMPUS BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT I WAS HATEFUL AND INTOLERANT.
BEGAN PREACHING IN THE BRICK AREA AND GATHERED LARGE CROWD. WAS LATER MOVED FROM BRICKYARD TO GRASS AREA BEHIND CHICK FILA AND THE CROWD FOLLOWED. GREAT DAY OF PREACHING. WENT BACK ON FRIDAY AND PREACHED IN THE SPOT WHERE I HAVE PREACHED SINCE 2006 ON THE GREEN IN FRONT OF THE LIBRARY AND ACROSS FROM THE FOUNTAIN. I LOVE THIS SCHOOL AND THE STUDENTS AND LOVE PREACHING HERE.
Wednesday November 20, 2013-Florida State University-Tallahassee, Florida:
I have always enjoyed preaching on this campus and had a great three day meeting last December (2012) the final week of the semester.
FELLOW CAMPUS PREACHER TOM SHORT AND HIS DISPLAY
Walking up near the free speech area I noticed there was some display of signs up and a crowd of about 50-60 gathered around.
The signs were pro Christian/anti evolution and the guy talking to the crowd was long time campus preacher Tom Short.
I appreciate Tom’s ministry even though we would not agree doctrinally on several issues. He has more of an apologetic emphasis than we do and his message is probably more geared to intellectual discussion than strong preaching emphasizing repentance from sin and holy living.
On the campuses of Ohio State University and IUPUI (Indianopolis, Indiana) I turned very large crowds I had been preaching to over to him.
I did not want to interfere with Tom nor look as if I was opposing him but the spot I would be preaching in was far enough away where it would not interfere.
I began preaching around 2:05 PM on this overcast day in the high 60’s. The crowd did not become very large right away but it did not take long to begin to gather listeners and start having people heckle and ask questions.
The crowd remained playful and civil while continuing to grow and I believed I was able to preach very and make my points very effectively.
Most of the crowd seemed to be composed of rank self professed heathens rather than the usual professing Christian hypocrites. I am figuring many of those may have been listening to Tom Short.
The crowd continued to grow to around 200-250. This is a good sized crowd on most campuses but is really not that large of a crowd for this campus.
The crowd kept their distance for probably slightly over one hour and then several moved in to try to give me a “group hug”.
I escaped and hopped upon one of the many ledges in the area. Several in the crowd sat down in front of me and the crowd was more rowdy than earlier and many hecklers were clowning around but the crowd remained fairly civil and I was still able to preach effectively.
The students really seemed to like the way I slapped my Bible when making points and asked for me to do it several times.
I had been scheduled to preach in a church this evening so I wanted my voice to remain strong. I stopped preaching around 3:30 PM and announced.
Sister Elizabeth and I stayed around and talked to the students for about 30 minutes longer before leaving.
Thursday November 21, 2013-Florida State University-Tallahassee, Florida:
PHONE CALL FROM TOM SHORT AND ADJUSTMENT OF PREACHING LOCATIONS
I received a phone call from Tom Short last night letting me know today he would be moved to the area I had preached in yesterday because another group had the area he was in today reserved.
I was a little disappointed but understood and did not want to interfere with him especially if he had that large display and had to reserve the area. I am not against his ministry but am for it.
Arrived on campus today around 1:20 PM. Tom Short had his large display in the area where I preached yesterday and had a group of about 20 students around him. I think some of them were the ones who invited him to come.
I moved down about 70 yards from where he was and began preaching at 1:30 PM in a grass area with a wall in front of it. Soon I gathered a crowd of about 60-75.
USING SCRIPTURES TO EXCUSE AND DEFEND SIN
A fairly polite black male began asking me about 1 John 1:8 and did an ok job of allowing me to put it in context. Just as I finished and made my points he ignored everything I said and tried to play scripture hopscotch and bring up Romans 7.
I blew his argument away by quoting Romans 7:14 and explaining what carnal meant in the context of Romans 8:5-7 and Romans 6:23.
Every time he would say anything the crowd would cheer. He would not admit if a homosexual died a homosexual he would go to hell. He also admitted to being in sexual sin.
Soon several other hecklers showed up who claimed to be Christians and pretended to be Greek scholars like the black male student I was already contending with.
Several loud black females kept rebuking me sharply and calling me names and judging me for rebuking sin sharply and judging sin.
Around 2:45 PM a student wearing suspenders showed up with a radio playing loud music and starting dancing as the crowd cheered and the music drowned me out.
I backed up about 25 yards and stood on a ledge and continued preaching as the crowd came to where I had moved.
DISHONORABLE POLICE OFFICERS
Two police officers had showed up and had seen the student drown me out with the radio and watched me move away from the noise.
In front of the police the student with the radio moved right to where I had moved and began blasting the radio in front of me.
The police officers had moved next to me and I informed them that it was not legal for me to be followed around by someone with a loud radio drowning me out while I was attempting to exercise my first amendment rights.
They denied this. I asked to speak to their superior officer. He supposedly phoned his superior officer and informed him of the situation going on and the superior officer supposedly said it was ok for them to do that.
I believed the officer was flat out lying and the phone conversation was totally phoney. I told him I was recording and he said he was also. I told him he would not be reporting the incident but I would. I informed him I was moving to another area.
Another black male student who had been listening from afar told me after I moved the officer told the students after I left that they were not allowed to follow me around with the radio like they did.
I noticed the area where Tom Short had preached yesterday that had been occupied earlier today was now vacant.
NEW LOCATION IS GREAT PREACHING SPOT
I moved over to that spot and began preaching around 2:55 PM. In a very short time the crowd swelled to 200-250. I preached very effectively and strongly to the large crowd until around 3:30 PM.
The guy with the radio showed up again and began blasting me out. I was getting ready to stop anyway when the guy showed up.
I stopped preaching and moved into conversation mode with a small group.
WINNING OVER FORMER OPPONENTS DEALING WITH DIFFICULT QUESTIONS
One girl struggling with lesbianism asked me sincerely about how to overcome her desires. I counseled her for some time as my would be detractors listened in and attempted to critique me. I think they were impressed with the way I answered her and dealt with her and seemed to at least partially win some of them over.
I honestly don’t think they would have known how to respond to her and counsel her. The girl thanked me and declared to all that I had answered her question thoroughly.
I next had a very good discussion with a young man who really seemed to desire to walk with God in a pure way as my former hecklers and critics continued to listen in.
We had a great, fruitful and profitable discussion as several listened in. Some of my former hecklers from earlier in the day thanked me and seemed to appreciate me.
A snaky calvinist asked to talk to me as I was leaving. He was a typical innocent acting scripture twisting, sin defending, grace mongering, “I exalt my calvinism over any and all scriptures” calvinist. Not all are this way but many are.
I ended up rebuking him sharply before we departed.
It was around 4:45 PM when we departed.
Friday November 22, 2013-Florida State University-Tallahassee, Florida:
Today was sunny with temperatures in the mid 70’s. I arrived in the free speech area around 12:40 PM. Tom Short had his display up and had about 10 students around him.
He was in the same spot he was in on Wednesday and the spot I preached in yesterday after I moved from the first spot.
I was back to my favorite spot to preach and have had massive crowds here in the past.
I began preaching at 12:40 PM and gradually built a crowd that gathered in a large circle of about 250 all around me. I had some heckling but very little interruption.
DISRUPTION FROM DISHONORABLE POLICE OFFICER
About the most difficult opposition I had was one of the school’s dishonest, dishonorable police officers who showed up with a motorcycle to observe.
As the crowd reached it’s largest point, was listening and the preaching was going great he decided to leave by passing as slowly as possible and revving his engine up to drown me out.
I simply stopped, ignored him and waited for him to leave. Although the crowd said very little about this I almost got the impression they could not believe the officer was behaving in such a manner. Soon he left and I continued preaching.
Soon my crowd dwindled down some to around 70-75 and I felt very winded after only 45 minutes of preaching. I pressed forward and continued.
Steadily the crowd grew in a nice large circle to around 200-225 and remained that way for the rest of the time I preached.
Last year the crowds were large but after a little over an hour they would close in on me and would break out into pandemonium.
This year the crowds were not as large but they kept their distance and remained civil and attentive.
I think today I had almost a perfect crowd for a crowd that size as I had heckling and interruptions but then the hecklers would be quiet and listen as I preached and answered their questions. They never tried to close in on me and sabotage the meeting.
I continued preaching to the crowd of 200-225 until 2:55 PM and then called upon my dear wife sister Elizabeth Armstrong to preach.
I left the scene to avoid the crowd following me and being a distraction and prayed for the preaching. I observed from behind the wall and plants where the crowd could not see me.
I also observed Tom Short now had a crowd of about 50 around his display. I believe our meeting helped him get a larger audience.
As sister Elizabeth took over all the cowardly bullies showed up who were too afraid to attempt to try to bully me to bully her but she did an excellent job and the crowd size increased to around 300 or more.
Of course all the students would also want to find out if she agrees with what I was preaching and try to get her to contradict me.
At 4:00 PM I returned to the preaching area to the applause of the crowd and announced we needed to leave for the day. We also let them know brother Jed Smock would be coming to preach the next week.
BREAKING UP THE GROUND
Brother Jed preached on this campus last year after I had preached there three days and claimed he believed this was the reason his crowds were so calm and attentive. This is often the case and a fact often overlooked by those who criticize and do not participate in plowing the campuses in the open air.
Monday November 4, 2013-Sam Houston State University-Hunstville, Texas:
I have been on this campus before back in March of this year but this was the first time I had preached here.
It was a very overcast day and some drizzling going on as we drove out. I arrived in the large brickyard around 12:25 PM and began preaching.
It took a few minutes to gather the attention of the students but not too long. Soon I gathered a decent sized crowd that fluctuated from 75-175 for the rest of the afternoon.
I began the preaching standing on on of the ledges in the area. From the time I started until the time I stopped I constantly had hecklers and would be preachers attempting to interrupt me.
BUDDING STUDENT PREACHER IN TRAINING
One young black male student got up and started preaching but I actually agreed with his message. He was telling the students they must repent, turn from sin, be holy, and if they died in sin they will end up in hell.
I stopped preaching and just amen’ed him and encouraged him to keep preaching. Of course he was not really trying to back me up but trying to preach the right message in the “right way” and not the “wrong way” like I was.
This was about like Donnie McClurkin giving his testimony about being delivered from being a homosexual at Obama’s inauguration.
As the crowd saw his message actually agreed with my message they began to turn on him in a very subtle manner and quickly distracted him and got him to step down. He continued to witness on the sidelines during the rest of the afternoon.
Another black male student jumped up later and his message was not as good as the first guy’s but still better than most.
As the afternoon wore on it began to drizzle again but the crowd did not disperse at all. Soon students began to stand and sit on the ledge I was preaching on and try to crowd me in and blow cigarette smoke in my face.
I did not get too many good questions during the preaching, I had to stay very basic, and if I did get a good question the crowd was not calm or patient enough to listen to the answer.
I pounded the law, sin, righteousness, judgment and the fear of God.
I moved to the other end and continued. The crowd quickly grew fairly rowdy but never became hostile or violent. I did not see any police officers present.
The drizzle stopped and the crowd moved in closer. At 2:00 PM I announced I would return later that week. I walked to where my wife was sitting and a group of students followed me and began asking questions.
CALVINIST PREACHER/HECKLER DISCREDITS HIMSELF
One student was a white guy who was a calvinist who had tried to preach over me when I first began. He kept crying about grace. At this point I asked if he was a calvinist and he proudly replied he was. I then asked him if he believed Jesus died for everyone. He then stated he was not a 5 point calvinist but a 4 point calvinist.
I then asked him if he believed God ordained for most people to go to hell and he replied “yes”. At that point he had totally discredited himself and the crowd ignored him.
I dealt with several atheists, a church of Christ girl who was being taught baptismal regeneration but did not know it, baptists and what seemed to be a fairly solid group of Chi Alpha’s.
The Chi Alpha’s listened, asked questions and seemed to agree with everything I told the students in the discussion. They still seem to have cold feet when it comes to rebuking sin though in no vague and uncertain terms.
It had begun to rain again during this sideline discussion a few times and I left the campus at 3:00 PM. It was a fairly good first day.
Tuesday November 5, 2013-Sam Houston State University-Huntsville, Texas:
The weather was similar to yesterday as it was overcast and drizzling some on the drive over.
I began preaching in the same location as yesterday at about the same time (12:30 PM). Some of the groups with tables in the brickyard area cheered as I arrived.
I began preaching and some students sat down on the ledge across the brickyard and quietly listened. I preached for about 15-20 minutes as the crowd gathered very slowly. I had almost no heckling or questions.
Gradually conviction set in, I began to get hecklers and some questions and the crowd continued growing to around 300 for most of the afternoon’s preaching.
PREVIOUS OPPONENTS NOW ALLIES
Some of my previous day’s opponents and would be interrupting preachers were now my allies and witnessed on the sidelines. They did not verbally back me up but they did not oppose nor interrupt.
I was able to do some effective preaching at times for such a large rowdy crowd. They were calmer earlier on but as the preaching went on they became more rowdy.
The calvinist from the previous day stood next to me to read some bible verses on grace and admitted in front of the whole crowd he was in sexual sin.
Other hecklers from the previous day and earlier on today kept following verses I would quote and stopped their heckling and opposing.
Some guy with a weak feminine voice held signs with perverted slander against myself most of the time.
By 2:00 PM the crowd thinned down some and I decided to move from preaching mode to discussion mode. I remained standing and answered questions for another hour until 3:00 PM.
One student shook my hand and thanked me for being there and preaching.
After I stepped down from preaching I continued having discussion on the sidelines for another 20 minutes or so.
Thursday November 7, 2013-Sam Houston State University-Huntsville, Texas:
It was scheduled to rain yesterday (which it did) and I was preaching in church that evening so I did not go.
Even if it did not rain it was probably better for me not to go as my voice gave me a little trouble when I began preaching last night.
As I began preaching today it was also giving me some trouble and seemed I had to work harder to lift it up.
It was a clear, beautiful, sunny day in the sixties unlike the previous two overcast, drizzly days.
From the spot I had preached at the previous two days the wind would have been blowing in my face so I decided to begin preaching on the other side facing the spot where I had been preaching.
I began preaching at 12:10 PM and having a difficult time lifting up my voice. The majority of students in the area at this time seemed to be black and they immediately began to listen, mock and heckle.
One young man stood next to me and was not acting aggressive to me but he did put his hand on my shoulder several times. I cautioned him and he stopped but later attempted to slap my water bottle. He knew I had no fear of him so he just bluffed a while.
This student as well as others gyrated and continued mocking and heckling but many were listening intently.
After a while things settled down some and I had about 40-50 students who were sitting calmly, asking questions and listening very well.
ATTACKED BY AN ANGRY POT SMOKER
Soon an overweight, sloppy looking, older than average student, white male sat and began listening. He kept interrupting me and demanding me to answer where the Bible said smoking marijuana was a sin.
I did not like the way he was trying to control me and demand I answer him while I was making another point. When I finally finished I pointed at him and said marijuana gives people the “munchies”.
He came storming at me like a raging bull and ordering me to leave the campus. I tried to continue preaching but knew he was going to attack me. He slapped my “No Porn” button off my jacket and shoved me off the wall I was standing on.
I had no fear and hopped back upon the wall and he shoved me again but I warned him he was being filmed. The other students convinced him to leave the scene and he did.
I retrieved my “No Porn” button and resumed preaching. I now had a much larger audience and had no doubt earned the respect of many in the crowd by not backing down, not showing any fear, and not retaliating. The black students gave me no more trouble after this incident.
HOMOPHOBIC BRITISH RAPPER
I was able to preach to the larger crowd that continued growing effectively for some time. Soon a guy from England with an English accent showed up and began “rapping” and calling me homophobic names.
The crowd swelled to around 250-300. This guy would repeatedly show up as the afternoon wore on and show everyone he could “rap” and dance.
I told him he needed to stop trying to be like Vanilla Ice.
It was obvious he was not very talented as he could not draw a crowd of his own. At least Vanilla Ice was a good dancer.
I preached as best I could to the large rowdy mob of 250-300. At times they would settle down and listen. Other times they were more unsettled.
Some catholic guy with a dog kept lifting up his dog in the middle of the crowd and saying things I could not hear. This was a big distraction also at times.
Around 2:10 PM a police officer approached me and very kindly told me I did not have to leave but he needed me to move to the spot I was preaching at the previous days as people were complaining the entrance to the building behind me and to my left was blocked by the crowd.
I invited the crowd and moved to the new spot. I decided to shift from preaching mode into conversation mode.
OUTSTANDING FINAL HOUR OF DISCUSSION
The next hour was OUTSTANDING. Soon the students settled down and I had a group of 25-30 listening and eating out of my hand.
The calvinist who had tried to preach over me each day listened to me expound on Romans 7 and stopped fighting me.
I gave my testimony along with many examples as the students listened intently and asked a few questions. No one argued with me or tried to oppose anything I said. The students opened right up to me.
Sister Elizabeth was surrounded by a small group of students for a good part of the afternoon and answering their questions.
Around 3:20 PM I had to excuse myself to use the restroom. The black male student who had preached the good message saw me in the student union and shook my hand and was very happy to see me.
As I walked back in the brickyard all the students were still there and having discussions amongst themselves.
The black male student I had just seen in the union also returned to the brickyard and really defended the Bible and sin free holy living well to one vehement sin defending hypocrite.
We stayed around another 15 minutes or so and headed to our vehicle. A very good and fruitful week indeed!
Wednesday October 30, 2013-Texas State University-San, Marcos, Texas:
Went through usual first day glitches of finding campus, getting parking permit, finding parking area, and finding free speech spot.
I had seen pictures where other preachers had preached on the statue of the big stallions. However another preacher had told me they had moved him from the statue of the stallions to an area near the student center.
When I arrived today and located the statue of the stallions there was all kinds of construction going on in the area. Power saws were running, and they were blowing the leaves off the area.
I waited around but to no avail. Soon a hard rain came down and lasted about 5 minutes and soon cleared up.
I had missed the class break waiting for all the loud noise of power saws and blowers to stop.
Since I knew they had moved the other preacher from the stallions I decided to check out the other spot.
While I debated and walked back and forth a few times trying to decide what to do the sun came out.
I decided to begin to try preaching in the area near the student center away from the construction where the stallions were.
I began around 2:30 PM. I preached for about 30 minutes and a good crowd was building (about 100-150) when a woman who identified herself as working for the Dean of Students told me I was in the wrong area.
I informed her there was construction going on in the other area (the other spot was a much better area anyway) and I was told by my preacher friend that he had been moved to this spot the last time he was here.
I was very polite and compliant and told her and the crowd I was moving to the statue of the stallions.
On my way to the stallions the crowd was following me and I was stopped by three officers. One was a female who I did not know “owned” the campus and she decided what the law was.
She asked me for my ID and I gave it to her. The other officers talked to me and were telling me what I needed to do.
After a few minutes the woman police officer who owned the campus and was the sole dictator of what was lawful and what was not issued me a criminal trespass warning.
I audio recorded all my preaching as well as everything told me by the officers and all our discussion.
As we left as the crowd watched and listened on they cheered. Do they realize they are cheering for their first amendment rights being taken away?
Thursday October 31, 2013-Texas State University-San Marcos, Texas: Flooding today in San Marcos. All the officers are out dealing with the flooding.
The day after the preacher is kicked off campus for preaching and given trespass warning.
The day after two preachers are arrested for preaching in Oklahoma City at sodomite parade tornadoes devastate the area.
It was somewhat frustrating to be given a criminal trespass warning after preaching only a half hour yesterday (10/30/2013) with no warning and trying my utmost to be complaint and cooperative with the officers.
It was mainly the one woman officer and not the TSU police force that was to blame.
I called and asked to speak to the chief of police about the trespass warning I was given this morning. I was told there had been flooding over night which only happens here about once every 10 years (coincidence for them kicking me off campus?) and the chief would most likely not be able to talk to me until after Friday morning.
I had already lost probably the best day of preaching I would have here and now it seemed I would not be able to preach here again the rest of the week after driving about 8 hours to be here from my last location.
I still had peace in my heart and believed God had led me to preach here for whatever reason.
It rained all night long and was forecast to rain for most of the day today. I figured at worst I would just head over to preach at the University of Texas-Austin later in the day and Friday.
About 10:30 AM (about one hour after I called the police station) one of the three captains called me back and was very polite and apologetic. He told me he was lifting my trespass and I could come back and preach. He also sent me the notification of my trespass being lifted in writing. Praise God!
He also told me I was correct in that there was two alternative free speech areas and that I had been preaching in the proper alternative spot even though the officer who issued me the trespass warning told him I was preaching in the spot where she issued the trespass warning which was not a designated preaching area.
I was also told I did not need to sign up before I used any of the free speech areas as the officers from the previous day had told me I needed to. He basically had to admit they were wrong.
Of course since he was so polite and apologetic and I really just wanted to be able to return to preach I thanked him and tried not to make a bigger deal out of it.
This did somewhat throw me off for today as I figured it would rain most of the day and I had gotten myself involved in doing some paperwork projects.
By 11:30 AM the weather was clear and sunny and I was trying to get myself out of my projects and into campus preaching mindset.
We went and made a copy of the trespass warning being lifted and tried to head to campus. It seemed it took forever to find a parking spot and it was already very late.
I also knew with it being October 31 many students would have skipped class and already left campus to get ready for the evening’s revelry.
I ended up not getting up to preach on the stallions statue until 3:10 PM and it seemed the campus was comparatively DEAD compared to the previous day.
In no time I gathered a small crowd (for this campus) of around 100-150. Gradually the crowd thinned down to around 50-60.
A very muscular black male student with dreadlocks kept throwing small rocks at me and hitting me.
I kept preaching and answering questions and gradually the crowd grew to around 250-300 and several officers were on hand keeping an eye on things.
The longer I preached the larger the crowd grew, the more hecklers would attempt to jump up on the statue and mock, and the rowdier the crowd grew.
Many students were wearing diverse Halloween costumes.
Later in the day a group of about 3-4 male students were standing on the statue with me, following me around and attempting to block me from moving and preaching.
One officer who my wife said was very friendly and helpful made one of the students stop this harassment and the student gave him a hard time about it.
At times the crowd was very rowdy and boisterous yet there were times they would seem to get totally quiet and just listen to the preaching.
Due to the size and rowdiness of the crowd I had to keep most of the preaching very basic and simple and did not really get too many good questions and would not have been able to answer them if I did.
Around 5:20 PM I stepped down and exited the crowd.
One sharp dressed young man who introduced himself as a member of the school senate asked several very good questions.
A very polite and meek female student who appeared to be biracial waited patiently until I finished talking to this young man. She then approached me and gave me a very sincere apology for the way the students treated me.
This female student was a great blessing as she seemed so sincere and humble. We had a very good discussion with her even though she mainly just listened and agreed. I think she was taught to be respectful of men, preachers, and her elders. She seemed to have had a very solid biblical foundation.
I could hardly believe how dead the campus was as we headed out to leave the campus.
Friday November 1, 2013-Texas State University-San Marcos, Texas: Super slow and dead day. I preached to about 50-60 for about 40 minutes and then shifted into group discussion as crowd quickly dwindled.
Following the preaching I was having a very good discussion for several hours a small group of students.
We were having a very good discussion on the details of what it means to repent, be born again, have a changed heart, a pure heart, be delivered from sin and how this is different from abstinence and self reformation.
The students sometimes confuse repentance with abstinence and self reformation.
One male student listened very well the whole time, made no excuses for a sinful lifestyle, asked very good questions, and stated he was understanding everything and it was becoming clear as a bell.
A female student who had also been listening made what I thought was somewhat of a sarcastic and condescending comment such as “Have you ever seen anyone get really converted from your preaching”.
I gave several brief testimonies and my wife also reminded me of a good one I had totally forgot about afterwards.
I then asked the female who asked that question in a harmless straightforward manner “How many students in your church group do you believe are converted by that standard we have been discussing here today?”
She had been telling what a great group it was she went to and how many young people they were reaching.
The young man immediately interrupted and stated “Oh less than ten percent!”
He attended the same fellowship as her in another location.
The girl also had been professing to be a Christian for two years, attending this group for two years, and claimed to have been studying the Bible for two years and yet did not believe it was a sin to be a homosexual.
A few days later I was sent this great testimony from that same young man:
Dear Disciple Micah, I was the male student with the orange hoodie from Texas State on the lonely friday. I just wanted to thank you for the message and the responses that you gave. They were not only exactly the responses I was looking for but it helped me in understanding more about the importance of Bible reading.
I have always heard people preaching but never quote the Bible as much as you do, and it made me realize that the way you do it is the way it is supposed to be done. I’m sick and tired of people trying to find their own interpretations and meaning, and as you said “watering down” of the Bible when in reality all the answers are inside the Holy Book. Most pastors I have learned from usually do the “watering down” and try to make me feel good about myself, and sometimes leaving me confused. I don’t care about feeling good, but I just want to know the reality of things.
I condone your methods fully and would love to one day be able to do the same. I am a recent believer, for about half a year. Hopefully one day we will meet again, but in the mean time I will continue to follow you on Facebook. Before I go, I would love if you could give me some advice and tips on Bible reading, especially on busy days were it seems impossible to do so. Thank you for everything, and God bless you.

First time preaching on this campus. A great three days of preaching. Met a campus minister and associate pastor of a church that focuses on reaching students at this university. He was very appreciative of our preaching and so were his disciples. This associate pastor told me he was the worst heckler of a campus preacher that came to preach at his school back in the early 90’s.
